The Club

I was recently inducted into the quarter of a century club. I feel like the first quarter century was pretty fun, it was capped by a pretty important carreer step, go me! I hope the next quarter century kick's it's ass out the door in fun-itude and job-itude however. And by kick's it's ass, I mean, I hope things go from great to hap-tastic.
I learned Saturday night that with great power comes great responsibility. No I wasn't watching spiderman. I was drinking. Cranberry and vodka. Oh my god. I think from now on, I will belong to that ever growing populous of non drinkers. I was DRUNK folks. DRUNK. I can still smell the italian food vomit in my nose. sick I know, but it's good to put it down somewhere so the next time I get all liquored up from free booze (thanks to everyone for helping along with that, truly. I loved it. My body is pissed at you though) Next time, I will drink much slower. and less often. or not at all. I am not a good boozer. ow my head. Who punched me?
I feel old. I don't care if you're older than me and reading this and get all uppity about it. I felt old yesterday fighting the hangover of hell. I feel old today trying to get my ass out of bed and to auditions. I feel old and poor and slightly less bohemian than I'd like as well. I'd like to feel super bohemian. Instead I feel spider retarded.
and that's what I've learned so far in this, my new century.
Things I am:
1) ADDICTED to coffee
2) a much better dancer than I was last year at this time.
3) getting stiff in the joints like I never thought possible.
4) Happy/content with the way that I look. (really?)
5) Kinda pissed that I read the last two Harry Potter books. Cause now I have to wait just like everyone else for the next one and I'm on pins and NEEDLES!
6) Not impressed with television. boy, it is crap. and yet I still pay for cable. grrrrrrrrrrrr.
7) not all that happy with my current living situation. I'm dealing however.
8) Not as organized as I need to be to live out here bohemian style. I'm dealing however.
9) Excited to retire at the end of this week from this job.
10)Excited to get paid for a full day on friday and was told I can leave...whenever I want. Drinks are on me! ...I mean...herbal tea is on me!
11)Much more relaxed and open when meeting people for the first time.

I get to go watch Paul Taylor all week for free. And that's the way uh huh uh huh I like it.

The Jester makes the girly drinks look manly.

Sorry to hear about the beak puking, but snaps on getting the drinks for free.

god, ok, I am in retirement. I missed it. This is gonna be the downfall of not having that job anymore. No internet all day long with nothing else to do. Every internet thing I have is going to suffer terribly.
I was in dance class so I was getting down....shit. skog...at 5...in honor of our retirment/sabaticals "Workin 9 to 5" by dolly parton.
Irony is amazing.

Whatever. I was dancing to "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.

I was also dancing with a mop. We looked really good together.
