We just got back from the gay bars in downtown Dallas. We had a lot of fun dancing and watching the drag show. Kalia and Rachel were called up onstage during the drag show, claiming they were drag show virgins. Then the drag queen made them bump and grind up on stage. I guess sometimes the gays want to learn how to move like a lady? Surely that's the reason to make girls bump and grind in front of them.
We left our hotel in Arkansas this morning, traveled through Oklahoma to Texas today. We had a pretty drive, the Ozarks must have foothills that we were driving near. Patty Wagon has started a war against F-Ride, on the quest to junk-out the van as much as possible, unnoticed by them. Today smuggled in were two small stuffed bunnies hanging from the ceiling and a can of spinach in the glove box. yesss.
Patrick told me some CRAZY stories today. His journey is FASCINATING.
The Cap drove the last part of the day and almost rear ended the F-Ride. We passed the Mary Kay headquarters on the way in to our hotel. We stopped and got makeovers. Will looks particularly lovely in his shade of rose eye shadow. It must have inspired him to get a haircut, because he did.
Last night Josh and I watched the stars from a hilltop in Arkansas. There was one particularly clustered and twinkly part in the sky that looked like a new universe. It was a perfect night to be out watching stars. It's very balmy in the part of the south we are in right now. Good for remote country runs.
If there was one important thing learned today, it's that the Cap is a country girl. Oh shit!
Texas is ok smelling.
