Day Ten: Show in Houston, I think we're now in Oklahoma

It has started, the room last night was lovely, but had no internet access. I'm ass tired right now because of the early call we had this morning (6:40) and the no sleep I had today. It's 1130, and I feel crazy tired, but ever devoted to this blog. hassaa! Last night we were in a Hilton in Houston and it was beautiful. There were delicious macadamia nut cookies that Em and I munched on before venturing out to the pool. We made another whirl pool there and I burned the bottom of both big toes from pushing off the edges of the pool.
The drive from Houston to Dallas yesterday was long and tiring and when we finally got to the hotel, we were so relieved to have competent workers behind the front desk. Our front desk concierge in Houston was...not good at being fast. It took the entire group 1 and a half hours to get checked in, OY! Long time. The pool in that hotel was beautiful and Josh and I splashed around for a good hour before we left to play yahtzee in his room later that night. that was two nights ago. It's getting difficult to remember all the what's when's where's and why's.
Our show in Dallas this morning went very well. I love hearing kids scream for a show. they get so excited to make noise and when they do it's just pure joy. There was a little girl in the pool outside of the Fort Worth (a venue with dressing rooms that doubled as giant cricket coffins) hotel that was splashing in the pool who got in the water and said, screamed "I got in the water! I GOT IN THE WATER!" The second time she said it, it was like she was exploring the upper most range of her voice. Very adorable. Anyway, the staff at the venue was a tremendous help loading out and in the van. hooray! We had no continental breakfast this morning! I was starving because I am living off that shit. Cause it's delicious!
After the show today, we met Marsha and swam at her hotel and chatted about the business. Then we hit the road and went CRAZY towards the end of the ride here in Oklahoma. Patrick is my hero, he's got the most incredible stories. My favorite so far...his easter birthday. They're really all so incredible, he has a way with words.
