We left early today, 600 am, our earliest yet. Half the cast went to Will's house for homemade breakfast, the other half went out on the road. I was a part of the later group and drove the first leg of the trip. I enjoy driving so much, even the big vans that we are driving.
We took a short walking tour around the hotel when the other bus arrived and found the most incredible high cliff above a reservoir. I imagine we will go back there tomorrow evening. The landing is a high part of the rolling landscape that surrounds the area. It's deliciously inviting, we took in the sunset.
Then we ate at a local Mexican restaurant, my predictions of tomorrow morning's activities include at least two stops in the bathroom. MEXICAN!!! Delicious. There is a tepid whirlpool in this hotel and no elevator. But the beds are very comfortable and the waiter at the restaurant gave me a discount for being blond. There are ups and downs everywhere.
Tennessee is a beautiful state to drive through, we went over two HUGE bridges today. I felt like we could have driven right off both of them because there were minimal guard rails on both. We had Amazing in the car today, I don't know how the other bus is getting along with him.
Arkansas smells good.
