Tanning and Damning the Man

Just got done tanning by the poolside...of another hotel. I couldn't help but feel a little guilty relaxing in the sun this afternoon. The good angel on my shoulder was screaming at me, "you haven't paid for this fun in the sun! You should leave this place or at least offer something to the hotel for the use of their poooool!" But see, the little devil on my shoulder kept up, "Yeah, but the you're offering the hotel a service by advertising cuties by the pool!"
I'll probably go again, but I won't be able to relax completely, damn me and my conscience, the little angelic one anyway. As I was walking away from the pool a cop car followed slowly behind three of us as if to say, "Just this once ladies...just this once." Damn him, I want a tan!
I also went to the gym this morning, I really despise gyms. The thing i hate most are the TV's they put up in front of the machines. If people need a distraction when they're working out so badly, why don't they just go OUTSIDE! Plenty of stuff out there to see. I can see why it's difficult to run outside in places like NYC, where it can be dangerous. But TEXAS! Lot's of big beautiful open spaces out here. Plus the TV makes me feel so disconnected to everything. Disconnected to real time. I'll be enjoying the big open Texas places tommorow morning, right before the poolside.
This job is awesome.
